‘20 Guns Submitted Under Amnesty‘

Security Minister Dr Horace Chang confirms 20 firearms handed over under Amnesty so far. The declaration was made during a press conference.

Meanwhile, several parishes and police divisions are now under a State of Public Emergency. The parishes include Westmoreland, Hanover, St James, St Catherine, Clarendon, Kingston and sections of St Andrew with the exception of St Andrew North and Central police divisions. The announcement was made by Prime Minister Andrew Holness, also in the Press Conference at Jamaica House.
