22-Yr-Old Pregnant Woman Killed in Manchester Crash

A pregnant woman died as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle collision along the Winston Jones Highway near Mandeville on Sunday night. Police reports are that at about 7:30 pm the Toyota crown motorcar in which Elliot and two men were traveling, was hit by another car that did not stop. The impact of the hit caused the motorcar to breach the guard rail. At the crash site, our news team spoke with Deputy Superintendent Rohan Powell of the Mandeville fire station.

Statistics from the road safety unit indicate that twelve (12) people have been killed in ten (10) fatal crashes in Manchester since the start of 2022. As of May 9, one hundred and fifty-six (156) persons have been killed in fatal crashes across the country. Watch the full report:
