The man who pleaded guilty to the murder of 27-year-old Toshyna Patterson and her 10-month-old child Sarayah Paulwell has been sentenced to 30 years in prison. The man, whose identity is being withheld as part of a plea deal, is to serve 20 years in prison before being eligible for parole. He is believed to be one of the four men arrested and charged by the police over a month ago.
CVM News understands the man was given one year and ten months for each count of kidnapping. He was slapped with 30 years for each count of murder.
They will run concurrently.
The other man who pleaded guilty to his role in the brutal slaying of the duo is still in court. He is being accused of accessory before the fact to kidnapping and murder.
