300 Workers To Be Retained

300 workers to be retained for upgrading works at JISCO/ALPART Plant

There is hope for some of the workers at the JISCO/Alpart plant in Nain ST. Elizabeth who are faced with impending job cuts.

On Tuesday, the trade unions representing the workers reached an agreement with the management of the JISCO/Alpart plant to retain 300 of the 800 workers to be laid off for the upgrading of the plant.
