Five Shot, Two Fatally in St. Elizabeth

The St. Elizabeth police are bent on ridding the parish of violent crime following the recent shooting of five persons in Spring Park District on Friday, May 13, 2022. Member of Parliament for southwestern St. Elizabeth, Floyd Green, is appealing to residents to work with the police to rid the area of gangsters and curtail the crime epidemic in the parish.

CVM Live found out that the victims are 34-year-old Samantha Johnson of Spanish Town and 38-year-old Marlon Gager from the community.

Superintendent of the St. Elizabeth Division, Dwight Daley, who walked through the community, says the upsurge of violence in the Spring Park community is a result of an intra-gang conflict. Superintendent Daley is however reassuring residents that the police will be working diligently to rid the community of violence. Watch the full report below:
