59 Guns, 101 Ammo Seized In St. James

Deputy Commissioner of Police with oversight of the Crime Portfolio, DCP  Fitz Bailey says the latest gun find at Freeport, Friday was driven by intelligence and partnership. He says the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has strengthened its partnership with other agencies. DCP Bailey reminds that just days prior a major find took place at the same location when the authorities seized 22 guns.

DCP Bailey asserts that the police will do the heavy lifting in identifying and locating the deadly tools. However, he insists more must be done to stem the prevalence of organized crime in the country. No arrests were made in relation to the latest seizures at the location.
