6 Week Forklift Operation Course Set to Kick Start

The Kevoy Community Development Institute Jamaica (KCDI) will be launching a six-week forklift operation course, to fill the gap of certified forklift operators in the country. This partnership with the HEART NSTA Trust will benefit six of fifteen participants, who will be immediately placed in jobs at the end of training.

Almost like clockwork on the heels of the Prime Minister’s skilled labour speech, Executive Chairman of KCDI, Donovan Mclaren, says the six week training program will deliver two certification to its participants. He says this course will provide quality fork lift operators in a shorter training time. 

Opposition Leader Mark Golding points out forklift operation is a key element of the logistics industry, which is a worldwide and growing sector. He says discipline will be a fundamental value in the course of study. More details below:
