The community of Christiana in Manchester was rocked by the murder of a 61-year-old man, who is suspected to have fallen victim to a robbery that happened at a bar. Police are combing through evidence and are hopeful of a breakthrough soon.
The deceased, Anthony Williams otherwise called “Tony”, a resident of main street in the area, was found with his hands and feet bound and an electric cord around his neck at the bar on Rock View plaza near Brockery Gate in Christiana. Residents gathered in disbelief at the death of their friend; they describe him as a valuable, and loving member of the community. Meanwhile, Reverend Kirk Pinnock of the Mandeville Baptist church is calling for the church to be included in the government’s plans to stem the prevalence of crime in society. Watch the full report:
