Ackeef Nugent Meets with Opposition Leader Mark Golding

Since CVM LIVE first highlighted a young peacemaker from Cockburn Gardens paving a bright future for himself and others, his blessings have been uncountable. Ackeef Nugent the organizer of a recent sports day seeking to restore peace and unity in his gritty hometown has recently had an audience with the Opposition Leader, Mark Golding. 

13-year-old Ackeef is making an indelible impression on those he’s impacting through academics and sports. He left the Opposition Leader in an even more hopeful mood after a courtesy call Thursday.

The politician notes that Ackeef has been volunteering and serving since he was about 7 years old and encourages other young Jamaicans to follow suit. Watch the report:
