Agri Ministry Donates $50 Million to Support Poultry Farmers

Minister Pearnel Charles Jnr. says the government will be providing 50 million dollars in support to local Poultry Farmers in light of recent shortages.

Help is flying in for local farmers who are balking under the pressure of local poultry supply and price increase. Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries Pearnel Charles Jr, says the ministry will continue to dialogue with local and international poultry processing companies regarding ramping up production of baby chicks to meet demand. Charles Jr. assures farmers that they have the ministry’s support.
