As a small island developing country, infusing everyday life with technology becomes paramount for not only local growth but making the tourist experience richer.
Rydeum Technologies is helping thrust the island and it people into the next wave of doing business online. Do, get, go, that’s the app that says it will change the way business is done in Jamaica. Jamaican born CEO of Rydeum Technologies, Mark Hannah calls it a super app, because of what it will do for business and the economy. With this app, everything from transportation, food, and other services will all be available in one app.
Hannah anticipates the platform will connect people who are already doing business but want to expand their reach and market share. Powered by JUTA Tours limited, the goal of the app is to allow Jamaican businesses to deliver to their customers at the same level experienced globally. After its roll-out later this year Hannah hopes the local tourism product will be greatly enhanced.
