The seven-year-old Ardenne Alumni Foundation launched an ambitious legacy programme on Thursday with an aim to garner funds for numerous projects to meet the needs of the school whilst transforming the lives of the students who pass through its corridors.

A wellness center for the Ardenne High School is the flagship project to be undertaken by its alumni foundation. This is being done through the creation of its legacy programme created by its past student’s association.

The legacy programme was launched on Wednesday with one hundred thousand Canadian Dollars donated by past student Paul Barnett.  Where possible, Barnett chooses to give back to the school that he says had a big impact on his life. He encourages other alumni to do the same through the legacy programme.

Ardenne Principal Nadine Molloy highlights the need for the wellness center. Molloy looks forward to collaborating with the foundation on other projects to develop other areas of the school.
