By this much indication has been given that another round of States of Emergency (SOE) will be had before the year comes to an end. However, despite being a haven for criminals, fleeing stringent policing measures in other parishes nearby, the Area One Commander does not see the need for an SOE in Trelawny. ACP Chambers says even in regard to major crimes and gangs, there would still be no need for the special crime fighting tool to be used in the parish at this time. He is however welcoming the effective and opportune SOEs recently lifted and soon to be imposed again in sections of the country.
