A comprehensive study examining arrests made in Jamaica from 2017 to July 2023 has unveiled astonishing revelations about the policing landscape and criminal trends. The study’s findings indicate that during this period, approximately 89 percent of arrests were of male individuals, while females accounted for nearly 12 percent of the roughly 90 thousand arrests conducted.
