St Ann’s Bay Mayor, Sydney Stewart says an emergency meeting of the St Ann Municipal Corporation on Sunday revealed a downpour Saturday was the catalyst for the gridlock in the parish. Motorists were caught in the bottleneck for hours, as police sought cover from the rain. Mayor Stewart says plans are in place to prevent a repeat of Saturday’s pile-up. More here:
