After multiple push backs, a few schools have finally reopened. Kemps Hill High is one of the seventeen schools that were chosen to be part of the face to face pilot reopening. Only the grades seven and eleven students were at school on Wednesday. The principal of Kemps Hill high Vernon Morrison says so far things have gone smoothly.
More and more students are returning to the classroom as the days go by, in some cases the attendance has been way below expectations.
CVM LIVE reporter Christeen Forbes visited Kemps Hill High earlier today to observe how students and teachers were complying with the new rules.
