Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett is sending a stark warning to tourism players to desist from charging individuals to secure jobs in the sector. The Minister says this is tantamount to scamming and anyone caught will feel the law.
At the same time, Minister Bartlett said his Ministry is seeking to recruit and deploy at least 10, 000 cruise ship workers. While noting a high demand for Jamaican workers not just locally, but globally. Bartlett says the sector has a responsibility to ensure its workers are not being scammed in the process.
