Beachgoers Continue to Flout Guidelines in St. Ann

Over the course of the weekend, the St. Ann police say they have arrested and charged a number of defiant beachgoers.

Despite beaches and rivers being closed, the St. Ann Police are faced with undeterred persons who continue to go to water spots in large groups.

While some parishes are plagued with the consistent hosting of illegal parties, St. Ann which has numerous beaches and rivers is being nagged by undeterred beachgoers.

Mayor of St. Ann, Sydney Stewart described the situation as unfortunate as people continue to disregard COVID-19 safety rules despite being aware of the health risks.
