With plans underway to aid in the development of Portmore, Jamaica’s soon-to-be 15th parish, one clergyman, Bishop Alvin Bailey questions the government’s intentions. He says he suspects the move is a political one. The bishop is urging the government to hold off on its plans, and take a closer look into how the move will affect the residents of Portmore. He doesn’t believe adequate planning and research were done before announcing the move. He has some questions.
