After being mowed down by a vehicle 5 years ago which resulted in Moses Palmer’s visual impairment, the once hearty man is now struggling to cope with life in the aftermath. Palmer tells CVM LIVE his near-death experience changed his life, plunging him into depression and destitution. He says he and his wife a retired nurse has been unable to cover the cost of the required surgeries, resulting in his further deterioration. 

He says they have sought assistance from the different organizations responsible for helping the vulnerable. However, their experiences have been unfavorable. Watch the report:
