Once again, it seems the ongoing State of Public Emergency in the parish of St. James is no match for the crime there.
In less than 24 hours, six (6) persons have been injured in separate shooting incidents and two (2) have died.
Despite this, the Mayor of Montego Bay, Homer Davis, still believes the SOE is necessary and will eventually bring crime to an acceptable level.
