The body of a woman found Tuesday with her hands and feet bound in Greenvale, Manchester has been identified. A crowd gathered at the scene where the partially decomposed body of a woman was found on Tuesday. The victim has since been identified as 45-year-old Paula Saunders, a resident of Greenvale.
The mother of two was found naked under logs with both hands and feet bound with fabric. It has been theorized the intention was to burn the body. While the Police High Command has confirmed an official missing person’s report was never filed, CVM LIVE understands that the woman was missing for days, until the gruesome discovery.
Reports from the Mandeville police are that at about 8:30 Tuesday morning, residents stumbled upon the decomposing remains and alerted them. The scene was processed and the body was transported to the morgue. Detectives assigned to the Manchester police division are probing the circumstances surrounding her death.
While residents in the area mourn her passing, they remain tight-lipped, amid swirling speculations. The victim has left her two children and relatives grieving.
