Boxing Day Buzz, Sting Returns To Portmore

The anticipation is palpable as the Boxing Day Buzz makes a triumphant return to Portmore, heralding the 40th staging of the iconic stage show “Sting.” A trailblazer in on-stage lyrical clash culture, Sting promises an unforgettable night of entertainment, marking new life, growth, and transformation for the event. Isaiah Laing, the visionary promoter behind Sting, is urging fans to be part of this historic 40th staging, emphasizing that it may well be his last as he contemplates passing the torch to one of his sons. The legendary Sting will be streamed live via pay-per-view on the ‘Caribbean On-Demand All In One Place’ (CODA) network, allowing fans worldwide to witness the spectacle.

Tickets are available for purchase, with general admission priced at 8,500 Jamaican dollars and a VIP experience at 15,000 Jamaican dollars. Whether attending in person or streaming the show, audiences are in for a night filled with energy, music, and unparalleled performances. The all-night stage show boasts an impressive lineup, featuring some of Dancehall’s youngest sensations, including Malie Don, Pablo YG, and Najeeriii. Esteemed acts such as D Angel, Spragga Benz, Tanya Stephens, and Bounty Killa will also grace the stage, delivering their still-hot and soon-to-be timeless classics. Sting’s legacy of lyrical clashes is set to return with a vengeance. Kyodi is slated to face off against artiste Fully Bad, and with recent beef surfacing among some of dancehall’s big names, fans might witness additional intense showdowns. Notable clashes etched in the dancehall establishment’s history include Vybz Kartel versus Mavado, Ninjaman versus Supercat, and Lady Saw versus Macka Diamond. As fans eagerly await the lyrical fireworks, the 40th staging promises to add new chapters to Sting’s illustrious clash history.

Don’t miss out on this landmark event! Secure your tickets now for a night that celebrates the essence of dancehall and marks the continued legacy of Sting. For those unable to attend in person, the CODA network provides an exclusive opportunity to experience Sting’s 40th staging from the comfort of your home.
