Breaches Identified by General Election Campaign Review Report

The much-anticipated findings of the general elections campaign review report are out. The damning revelation highlights among other breaches, vote-buying, and noncompliance to COVID-19 health protocols in the country’s first general election during a pandemic. 

Despite face-to-face campaigning being significantly hampered the review report unveiled instances of vote buying online. 

Meanwhile, the political ombudsman has assured steps have been taken to remedy the ills of the September 3 General Election Campaign and future ones.
