Bunting: Government Crime Fighting Measure Ineffective

On Thursday, October 7, a 5-year-old girl died after being shot by a stray bullet in her sleep. In the aftermath, the relatives of Denique ‘Den Den’ Salmon were plunged into mourning.

Opposition Leader Mark Golding and other Party Executives visited the family in a show of support and solidarity during their difficult time. Opposition Leader believes that crime has increased under the current government, they call it ‘the government’s inadequate management of crime’.

Shadow Minister on National Security Peter Bunting sees a need for more on the ground social management in communities across the island. He too is calling out the government.
