Burn Victim Flown Overseas for Medical Care

The Hanover woman who was allegedly set ablaze by her partner, earlier this month during a dispute left the island on Thursday, May 27 for medical treatment.

The victim sustained severe burns and was in dire need of specialist care offered in the US.

She departed the island earlier this afternoon in an air ambulance following much intervention from the Sanmenrna Foundation.
