A radiator shop went up in flames on Washington Boulevard. Reports are that the Jamaica Fire Brigade received the call just before 8 am. The building’s structure, some charred items, and the shop sign are all that remain after a fire destroyed the shop.
Assistant Superintendent at the Jamaica Fire Brigade, Howard Darlington told CVM LIVE the blaze demanded the attention of firefighters from three locations within the area in order to successfully contain the flames.
