A business owner is dead and a police sergeant is nursing gunshot wounds after they were attacked by armed men in Union Gardens, St Andrew on Tuesday evening.
It is believed the murder was carried out by gang members targeting the business operator. While Police Commissioner Major General Antony Anderson warned law enforcers to overcome their attackers on a visit to relatives of the slain policeman in St Thomas.
A businessman was shot and killed and a police sergeant injured Tuesday evening in Union Gardens, St Andrew. Commanding officer for the St Andrew South Police Division, Senior Superintendent Kirk Ricketts, says the cop assigned to the hunt’s bay police station was speaking to a friend when he was pinned in as the horrifying ordeal unfolded.
