Campbell As PNP General Secretary & Paulwell as Chairman

Dayton Campbell voted in as People’s National Party (PNP) General Secretary and Phillip Paulwell as Chairman.
Phillip Paulwell has been elevated to the top position of chairman of the People’s National Party, while Dr. Dayton Campbell was elected general secretary of the 82-year-old party. With an 82 percent voter turnout, Paulwell copped 153 votes defeating his opponent Dr. Angela Brown Burke and Dr. Campbell got the better of Raymond Pryce with 147 votes.

Dr. Campbell who succeeds Julian Robinson, says he is committed to dedicating time and energy to the party.

Campbell who on September 3, failed in his bid to be reelected as Member of Parliament for St. Ann North West will be stepping down from representational politics. Party President Mark Golding welcomes the newly elected members…

And with the insertion of a chairman and a general secretary, the renewal of the 82-year-old party, is expected to now officially start.
