Tourism Minister Ed Bartlett on Tuesday answered several questions about cannabis import and export, in Parliament. His response comes after an announcement at a Standing Finance Committee earlier this month, that Jamaica would be importing Cannabis from Canada.
Several other concerns were also tackled concerning the potential of the green market. Bartlett in his presentation said the Ministry of Investment and Commerce continues to prioritize the development of competitive industries. Previously, Senator Aubyn Hill said Jamaica will be importing cannabis from Canada, an announcement which started a frenzie.
