The Carnival Sunrise cruise ship will arrive on Monday, September 13; although scheduled to dock on a no-movement day, Minister of Tourism Edumund says it will be safe for passengers and vendors alike. Approximately one thousand, seven hundred (1,700) Carnival Sunrise cruise passengers are scheduled to arrive on Jamaican shores on Monday September 13, a no movement day. The safety of the operations was assured by senior advisor in the Ministry of Tourism Delano Seiveright
Minister of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett shares in a release that the cabinet decided to facilitate the cruise visit to honor the schedule for the season which had been agreed on with Carnival Cruise line prior to the imposition of the no-movement days. The arrival of the ship will bring economic benefits to approved vendors and businesses.
