Surrounding repeated fires in Central Kingston, which have displaced many residents. At least five homes have been completely destroyed and with them the tenuous stability. The Kingston Central enclave has been under siege recently, several fires, the origin of which, hitherto unknown.
76-year-old, Devon Bailey details the moment he had to rush from his house, he says he is grateful the life of his daughter and granddaughter were spared. However, he is distraught by the loss of his home and all his belongings. He laments the struggle of losing his home and his business and is asking for assistance from the public, to help him get back on his feet.
Meanwhile, as affected residents continue to pick up the pieces a telecommunications company was also on location replacing several charred cables damaged by the fire. More details in the report below:
