Residents of Russell Avenue, Central Villages, and St Catherine are pleading with the government to address a canal that overflowed due to inclement weather on Monday.
While observing the rising water level, one resident believes the excess water is due in part to the Rio Cobre overflowing its banks. They say it’s been a longstanding problem that would recur during heavy rainfall.
