Civics Back In School Curriculum

While speaking at the Constant Spring primary school’s anniversary celebration Monday, Education Minister Fayval Williams says the new school term will be seeing an additional subject to the curriculum, Civics. The Minister notes talks were held last year and have manifested. She says this subject will give students an understanding of being a true Jamaican. The Minister also reiterated the importance of students having the presence of parents and guardians. Meanwhile, as most countries across the globe are on the back end of Covid-19, the Minister was questioned, should the pandemic resurface is the education ministry prepared?
