Another double murder on Tuesday has rocked Lionel Town area of southern Clarendon, leaving lawmen to sieve for motives and clues. This time two men, friends, were gunned down at an intersection. Their deaths pushed the murder tally for the parish to nineteen (19) since the start of the year.

More video surveillance is needed at critical intersections throughout Clarendon as murders become a worrying trend according to the Superintendent of police in charge of operations for the parish, Christopher Phillips. His recommendation comes on the heels of another double murder involving two men on Tuesday, February 23.
