Claudette Thompson Appointed Acting DPP

Appointment of Acting Director of Public Prosecutions
Kingston, Jamaica. We are pleased to announce that Miss Claudette A. Thompson, Senior Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, has been approved by the Governor General of Jamaica, His Excellency the Most Honourable Sir Patrick Allen, ON, GCMG, CD, KSt. J, upon the recommendation of the Public Service Commission to act as Director of Public Prosecutions effective from April 22, 2024.

Miss Thompson brings with her a wealth of experience and dedication to the pursuit of justice. We extend our congratulations and best wishes to her as she takes on this important role in serving our country.
