Cockburn Gardens Peace Advocate to Meet With PM

Ackeef Nugent lauds CVMTV and sponsors – CVM LIVE revisits Cockburn Gardens, home to 13-year-old peace advocate and Excelsior High student Ackeef Nugent who’s injected fresh hope for residents at home and abroad. 

Since CVM LIVE first aired his story seeking support for his teaching and sports initiatives, he has been met with an outpouring of support. As you will hear in this follow-up with Neika Lewis, young Nugent is soon to meet with Prime Minister Andrew Holness. Ackeef Nugent is only thirteen and already a catalyst of peace and hope for his gritty Cockburn Gardens community in Kingston.
