Cocoa Piece Residents Support Death Penalty

Residents of Cocoa Piece, Clarendon say they are contented with the 23 year old murder accused being served a death penalty notice for the death of Kimeisha Wright and her four children. The father of the deceased says he will never be able to forgive Barnett. Residents within the community are expressing satisfaction with the decision. The massacre has left the community grieving, causing them to disregard Barnett’s right to life, saying his actions are unforgivable.

One resident says he believes Barnett should receive the death penalty because the country needs protection against someone who is capable of committing such a gruesome act. Father of the deceased, and grandfather to the four slain children, says the death penalty is not enough for Barnett, and he will never forgive him.
