Higher demand for Blue Mountain Coffee has been met with a renewed call by the president of the Jamaica Coffee Exporters Association for the Government to pump 200 million into assisting farmers to expand. The President says despite a glut at the start of the pandemic, having pivoted towards creating greater local demand for the product, an influx of young farmers trying coffee for the first time is also re-inspiring traditional coffee farmers.
