Police Commissioner Major General Antony Anderson is lamenting the effects of violence on the country’s youth as the nation mourns the latest victim to school violence,16-year-old Michion Campbell, who was fatally stabbed by her Kingston Technical High School (KTHS) mate last week.
On the heels of the fatal stabbing at the Kingston Technical High School, Commissioner of Police Major General Antony Anderson says the police are focused on preventing the continuance of these acts of violence.
He notes, prior to this incident, there have been several other videos posted to social media, of school fights and brawls. He highlights the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s “Safe School Programme”, which has been instrumental in improving police presence in schools.
