Concerns Heightened Amid COVID-19 Spike

Tourism Leaders Concerns Heightened Amid COVID-19 Spike – With the recent spike in COVID-19 cases, tourism leaders are calling on Jamaican nationals and visitors alike to follow the protocols, and health measures implemented in the designated resilient corridors and by extension across the country. According to the group, personal responsibility will play a major role in containing the spread.

Meanwhile, the general feel of the public is one of uncertainty, as the number of cases under investigation stands at 170 which suggests that there may be an undetected spread. Until there is a vaccine for COVID-19, avoiding exposure to the virus is crucial, and personal responsibility is key.
