Concerns Mount After Minors Deadly Bike Crash

A devastating collision along the Petersfield main road has resulted in the deaths of two teens. The males were identified as 16-year-old Ajani Robinson and 14-year-old Zackeal McIntire, both from the Pinnock Charfton community, in Darliston, Westmoreland.

In Western Jamaica, stakeholders are sounding fresh alarms regarding a concerning trend involving minors, a trend that tragically claimed the lives of two teenagers recently. Despite opportunities for some to earn and move freely, concerns are mounting over the potential loss of more lives due to inexperienced and risky behavior. Little London Division’s Councillor, Ian Myles, identifies the phenomenon of minors riding motorcycles as a pressing issue in Westmoreland.

Myles elaborates on the allure of motorcycle ownership among youngsters in the parish, particularly in the western regions where it serves as a means of income generation.
