A representative from civil society and the Public Information Chairman of one of the sub-committees within the Constitutional Reform Committee has revealed that the group is currently deliberating on various important matters. Among these matters are public awareness campaigns and improving public access to their committee meetings. Following a recess in August, the committee has resumed its work, starting with the State Affairs sub-committee. Their primary focus is to evaluate the nature of the presidency the country would adopt if it were to become a republic. Dr. Nadeen Spence, the Chairman of the Public Engagement and Communication sub-committee, elaborated on the concept and the steps being taken to develop a distinctive model for the nation. Watch:
