Cop Faces Murder Charges In Death Of JDF Private

In a recent CVM News update, the previously classified shooting death of a JDF private in St. Catherine over five years ago has officially been labeled a murder case. The accused, a corporal linked to the St. Catherine South Division, now finds himself in police custody after his version of events failed to satisfy investigators or a jury panel last week.

This resolution, long-awaited for eight years since the May 14, 2015 incident, not only stands as a victory for the Atkinsons but also sheds light on the circumstances surrounding the slain soldier.
