Following the COVID-19 sub-committee meeting with Government stakeholders ahead of the Emancipendence weekend, regarding the possibility of a third wave and the Delta variant, there are concerns from some small business operators. This as the restrictions were tightened earlier this week.
One small business operator said the new curfew hours has affected the closing time for many businesses which forces customers to rush or unable to get their business done especially with the Emancipendence weekend coming up. Meantime this man, who peddles shoes from his vehicle, says he supports the tightened restrictions, however he said he would have preferred if the curfew hours was a bit later.
Kool Chrome, who says he is a street entertainer sought to express his views how he knows best; with a song. A taxi operator says congestion is a major issue whenever the curfew is at 8 pm.
