Councillor for the Waterford division, the People’s National Party‘s (PNP) Fenley Douglas is refuting claims of political sabotage and vandalism in a section of Portmore last weekend. Member of parliament for St Catherine South Eastern Robert Miller alleged several murals done for the Jamaica 60 diamond jubilee were defaced in Waterford.

Douglas told CVM LIVE that as a nation builder he has worked assiduously for the development and beautification of the community. He says his sole concern is for the Member of Parliament to work cohesively, to prevent a conflict of interest in rehabilitation projects.

Councillor Douglas says he has no motive to indulge in such acts while labeling Miller’s accusation as political gimmickry. Watch the full report:
