A couple was murdered by gunmen in Norwood, St. James. CVM Live understands the woman was pregnant. The murder of 19 year old Barrington Clarke and 33 year old Suwayne Pennicott was a bitter pill for family members and residents to swallow on Saturday.
When CVM Live visited Chico Lane, Norwood St. James, there was an atmosphere, heavy with grief. According to the police, they were summoned by residents who reported hearing several loud explosions from the couple’s dwelling in the wee hours of the morning.
Upon arrival, they found their bullet-riddled bodies in bed, covered in a white sheet; in a cuddling position. This door bears evidence of the gunmen’s forced entry. A relative of the deceased woman says she was pregnant with her 5th child. Our news team spoke with another relative of Pennicott who said the area had been quiet for the most part. He says part of the solution to crime begins with the perpetrators.
