The Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA) calls on parents to find alternative forms of discipline for their children. This comes after Carol Bennett, the grandmother of two children, shared grave concerns for the mental health of the children after they were allegedly abused by their father.
Ms. Bennett also adds, there was no proper parental guidance, and she noticed they had picked up on negative traits. She says since they have been staying with her, she used divine intervention and discipline, which she believes kept them on the right path.
Both children attend school in Kingston and have been doing classes online. Ms. Bennett, however, notes both are traumatized, as she explains there are moments when they behave unusually boisterous.
Ms. Bennett is seeking additional support as it relates to counseling for her grandchildren.
