Opposition leader Mark Golding during his tour stopped in the Ocho Rios Craft Market on Saturday to show support for vendors who say they are not getting good business. While touring sections of St Ann, the opposition leader took time to share in the concerns of craft vendors in Ocho Rios, who say they aren’t getting any business. He says more needs to be done to integrate tourism into the local economy.
Vice President of the Ocho Rios Craft Market, Mildred Macalla, says even though cruise ships have been docking in the area patronage from tourists is at an all-time low.
Golding, in highlighting the needs of the vendors, expressed confidence that the People’s National Party (PNP) will be of better help to the people.
