Chairperson of the People’s National Party’s Disciplinary Committee, Stacy Knight says the executive should be in receipt of the committee’s recommendations regarding PNP activist Karen Cross before the end of the month.
Speaking with CVM LIVE reporter Neika Lewis, Ms Knight says the committee on Wednesday went ahead and convened a hearing that was set for Cross.
Ms Cross however says she did not stay for that meeting. Knight says the committee held a fair deliberation in relation to the party member.
By the end of the month Ms Cross will know her fate in relation to several allegations she allegedly made against the PNP general secretary and other members of the party.
Her behaviour allegedly besmirched the party and caused concern.
The concerns included the leveling of unfounded claims of a sexual nature against the party’s General Secretary, Dr Dayton Campbell. Claims which the police later threw out as unsubstantiated, as no witness came forward.
Cross was recently summoned to a disciplinary hearing which she said she did not attend.
However, the chairperson of the committee, Stacy Knight says the meeting was still held.
